Treviya
Governance

Documented.Accountable.Operated to a standard.

Treviya publishes the rules it operates under. Fee transparency, supplier validation, KYC and AML discipline, dispute handling, data protection and platform oversight, in one place, in the same register the platform uses internally.

Principle

Commerce platforms earn credibility through structure, not claims. Governance is the structure, the standards the platform holds itself to, the discipline it applies to suppliers and partners and the accountability it offers to members and regulators.

This page consolidates the governance posture of the platform. Each section links to the operational detail that sits behind it.

Standards
Standard
Fee transparency

Every fee that affects a cycle is disclosed on the brief before authorisation and itemised on the settlement statement after close. No hidden line items, no rolled-up categories.

  • Supplier cost · the largest line by far, disclosed in writing
  • Freight · lane-specific, at the quoted rate
  • Customs duties · destination-specific, at the applied rate
  • 3PL handling · itemised by hub and carrier
  • Partner commissions · per-channel where applicable
  • Platform fee · disclosed as a percentage and a number
  • Reserve for exceptions · disclosed separately, not blended
Standard
Documented records

Every cycle generates a defined set of records. The records are retained for seven years minimum, exportable on request and immutable once written.

  • Authorisation with signed receipt
  • Supplier contract and amendments
  • Origin and hub inspection reports
  • Shipment documentation and POD
  • Channel partner settlements
  • Append-only ledger export
  • Itemised settlement statement
Standard
Curation discipline

Deals pass through a six-gate review before a cycle opens. Roughly 40% of candidates are declined. Decline records are archived alongside approvals.

  • Gate 1 · market demand (three independent signals minimum)
  • Gate 2 · supplier vetting (licence, UBO, sanctions, audit, sample testing)
  • Gate 3 · margin modelling (conservative anchor must clear)
  • Gate 4 · competitive scan (live pricing and stock depth)
  • Gate 5 · logistics clearance (origin, transit, destination, hub)
  • Gate 6 · committee approval (multi-reviewer sign-off)
Standard
Supplier validation

Gate 2 is the primary safeguard against supplier non-performance. Every supplier is re-reviewed quarterly. A supplier scorecard feeds into ongoing eligibility.

  • Licence check and ultimate beneficial ownership verification
  • Sanctions screening against UN, OFAC, EU, UK, Swiss SECO
  • References from prior counterparties where available
  • Factory audit on applicable categories
  • Independent sample testing before first cycle
  • Quarterly scorecard review of active suppliers
Standard
KYC and KYB

Individual members complete KYC (identity + document verification + sanctions screening) before any allocation. Institutional members complete KYB (entity + UBOs + source of funds).

  • eIDV + document verification for individuals
  • Registration, articles, UBO register, director ID for entities
  • Continuous sanctions re-screening on schedule and on event
  • Risk scoring drives monitoring thresholds
  • Records retained seven years following account closure
Standard
AML framework

FATF-aligned controls, transaction monitoring and suspicious-activity reporting across the jurisdictions the platform operates in.

  • Transaction monitoring tuned to the commerce model
  • Enhanced due diligence on higher-risk profiles
  • Escalation and reporting per local AML authority
  • Category restrictions applied at gate one (hard exclusions)
  • Sanctioned-origin exclusions applied at gate one
Standard
Dispute handling

Members can open a dispute on any cycle record. Most disputes resolve within 5–10 business days. Material disputes (>£5k) may go to independent mediation per the master terms.

  • In-platform dispute flow with structured evidence upload
  • Dispute counter-signed by both sides where possible
  • Revised settlement statement issued if error is confirmed
  • Original ledger entries preserved, records are never rewritten
  • Mediation pathway for material or unresolved cases
Standard
Data protection

Member data is processed under the regulation applicable to the member. Subject rights are supported through the dashboard and on written request.

  • GDPR (EU) · UK Data Protection Act · Swiss FADP · Singapore PDPA
  • Cross-border transfers under SCCs and adequacy findings
  • Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection
  • 30-day response target to subject requests
  • Breach notification per applicable regulation
Standard
Access controls

Mandatory 2FA, passkeys, trusted-device PIN and step-up authentication on sensitive actions. Institutional accounts use role-based access.

  • 2FA mandatory at account creation
  • WebAuthn passkeys preferred; authenticator-app TOTP as fallback
  • Per-device trusted PIN for low-risk approvals
  • Step-up on withdrawals, role changes, document uploads
  • Role-based access on institutional accounts
Standard
Participant accountability

The platform is designed for accountability at every seat. Members accept the terms of each cycle on authorisation. Suppliers sign the supplier master terms. Partners commit to service levels.

  • Cycle-level terms visible on the brief before authorisation
  • Supplier master terms attached to every active supplier record
  • Channel partner master terms with SLA and rotation policy
  • Documented escalation pathways for each seat
Standard
Platform oversight

Treviya is governed by the same framework it asks members and suppliers to operate under. Internal audit, external audit and published status.

  • Security review quarterly; compliance audit quarterly
  • Annual penetration test minimum
  • SOC 2 Type II in progress
  • Public status page with incident history
  • Material incidents receive a published post-mortem within 72 hours

Structure, not claims. That is the standard.

Every line on this page maps to an operational record somewhere in the platform. Nothing is for show.
